On July 24, 2024, Atlanticare Support Initiative (ASI) held a significant World Hepatitis Day event in Gombe State, anchored by its Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Adeyeye E. Ajayi, mni. The event focused on raising awareness about hepatitis prevention, treatment, and the critical need for public health interventions to reduce the spread of the disease in Nigeria.
Mr. Ajayi opened the session with an informative presentation on the global burden of hepatitis and its impact on public health, especially in under-resourced communities.
